I don't know how old it is and I visited there regularly in 1972-74 when living in Barrio Barretto about one mile from there. The crew from the USS Greyback SS 574 hung out at White Rock Beach for liberty. It was home ported in Subic Bay for several years until it was decommissioned in the early 1980s. I was stationed at Service Craft Harbor Tugs as EM-2 Electricians Mate. I saw recent photos of the Barrio and I don't recognize it now after 38 years. Jerry O'Connor USN 1968-81 EM-1
All comments are posted anonymously. We don't care who you are, we just care about what you have to say. But let's keep it civil. No slander. Talk about issues, not individuals. No racism. Cool it on the profanity. Like Sinatra said, "You don't need to work blue. You'll never play the big houses with that crap."
This is the beach at the White Rock Resort in Matain, Zambales.
