Classic Barrio Barretto photo
Folks for all the dirt and grime we see at the street level maybe it is time for us to just step back a bit and look at the big picture. It really is beautiful in our little slice of heaven.

Yes Bugle, but you know it's still just a bunch of shacks on a polluted bay and a filthy beach, no matter how you look at it. Besides, how can you see all the most beautiful women in the world while they must be at least 3 miles away in this photo. I suppose when you choose a bar girl, house, tv, or car, you stand back about 3 miles too because even though you know it's just a piece of crap, it sure looks a heck of a lot better from afar... or from another planet where everything looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGood grief... La Jolla it's not, and never will it be... you know the reason why, if you read the comments on this blog. "It is what it is," after all.
Later this year when all that's in that photo is submerged, someone be sure to snap a photo for comparison!
ReplyDelete"It is what it is." No matter how far you try to back away from it, we all know what it is.
ReplyDeleteMaybe everybody should camp on this hill during the next Olongapo flood. Good idea? But, I think there are some very influential people that already live on this hill that might object.
