From a reader: If your medical care is that bad in the Philippines, why on
earth would you choose to live there? For one it is considered a 3rd world
country, and like ALL 3rd world countries it struggles with health care. You
should have calculated this into your decision about living there in the first
place. If you want the same medical benefits as retired folks in the U.S. have,
then move back to the states. It's as simple as that. Don't blame Tricare.
Blame yourself for making an unwise choice of living in a place with
sub-standard medical care.
