Philippine Gun Control laws didn’t stop the Maguindanao Massacre

Sorry but it is NOT legal for a criminal or insane person to legally acquire a gun in the USA. If you take weapons away from law abiding citizens, only the criminals will still have their illegally acquired weapons. I remember President Marcos declaring martial law and seizing all personal weapons here in the Philippines. That set the stage for him to become a virtual dictator over an unarmed populace, precisely the reason why the US constitution grants the right to bear arms. The school shooting was a sad event, but equally sad are the deaths around the world from bombs and suicide terrorists, and let’s not forget the Maguindanao massacre.
