After seeing what has happened in the United States these past few years - 31 school shootings and it is still legal for anyone, any criminal or insane person, to buy high-powered assault weapons with no background check at gun shows - thank God the Philippines has modern gun laws. And Subic inside the base is even more strict than the national laws. That's why we don't have the mass killings that the United States has and will continue to have for years to come. The United States has a lot to learn from the Philippines.
