U.S. Pacific Fleet SUBIC BAY, Philippines (Dec. 29, 2012) Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine USS Bremerton (SSN 698) prepares to moor alongside submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39). Bremerton, homported in Pearl Harbor, is on a Western Pacific deployment while Land is homeported in Diego Garcia and undergoing repairs in the Philippines while conducting coordinated tending moorings and afloat maintenance in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
