they Could Afford It : In the Philippines, it is all of it, spotty gun
control, economic desperation, criminals, political, revenge, alcohol and
drugs, moral abyss, legal system/law enforcement inadequate to the challenge,
poor impulse control, and nuts...similar to many countries with lots of guns,
and then add in the Third World nature of things...but to say the violent
Philippines is either more "lawful" (hah!) than the US or has better
gun control than even the gun happy US is so wrong.
